WWII Tour 2019
Iolana tours Germany and Poland on a Learning Brave WWII history tour.
This trip happened a while ago! Look how little I was! Well, ok, not that little. This trip was a Learning Brave history tour focused on WWII sites.
The first place was Germany, home to the Berlin Wall and Holocaust memorials. While the wall didn’t survive intact, the memorials are powerful and sobering.
Here are photos from the different concentration camps. It’s the saddest thing to ever exist.
The rooms only have hardwood-planked bunkbeds, and often there were so many people in each building that the conditions were unimaginable.
